CDN-NDG provides funding to Biz NDG to support local commerce

We are proud to announce that the Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough has granted a $30,000 subsidy to Biz NDG as part of its financial support program for merchant associations. This amount will be allocated to the revitalization of commercial arteries and to our activities on the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce territory during the 2023-2024 period.
Thanks to this funding, we will be able to strengthen our programs to support and promote businesses in our community, organize activities to encourage purchases of local products and services, and expand our business memberships.
This financial contribution affirms Biz NDG’s commitment towards our local business community. “The funds will be used for the development of commerce and businesses in NDG. We would like to thank the borough for its ongoing support of our organization, as well as everyone involved in this important process,” explains Mehdi Talei, President of the Board of Directors and owner of Sainte-Bière on Monkland Avenue.
Gracia Kasoki Katahwa, borough’s Mayor of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, is also delighted with the joint efforts between her office and Biz NDG. In her words, “I am delighted that Biz NDG is able to benefit from our administration’s new financing program. Our collaboration with merchants’ associations is a priority for us. Thanks to these additional resources, I have no doubt that Biz NDG will be able to continue its important work in revitalizing the commercial arteries of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.”
We invite you to follow our updates on our website at and on our social media channels to learn more about the activities resulting from this funding for Biz NDG. Stay tuned!
